Bicuda is an Artistic Collective that, over 6 years, has organized 60 cultural events, bringing together over 70,000 people in in-person events. Through these initiatives, the collective is dedicated to highlighting, providing visibility, and creating job opportunities for the LGBTQIAP+ community. In addition, Bicuda also engages in music releases through its label, BICUDArec, offering digital releases. Among these releases is a compilation featuring 34 artists, available on various digital platforms, along with 18 albums from independent artists across the country.
Beyond its curation of LGBTQIAP+ artists, Bicuda includes a staff team that is deeply engaged with social issues related to identity and geographical diversity. The collective also hosted DJing and screen printing workshops in partnership with the MIS (Museum of Image and Sound) and Casa Sem Preconceitos, with 60 participants in each event date in 2019. In celebration of the collective's anniversary, an online festival was held, bringing together artists from a wide range of Brazilian regions, reaching over 20,000 views.
